Ready To Adopt?

Please come prepared to adopt. Here’s a list of what you’ll need to bring with you:

Please bring a government issued ID and proof of address if your current address is not on your ID.
Carriers will be available for purchase but you may bring one if you like.
Leashes, harnesses and collars will be available for purchase but you may bring them if you like.
We are allowing you to “name your price” for your new pet (we’re suggesting a minimum of $20) but please keep in mind that all animals will be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines. Our regular adoption fees range from $250 - $150 for a dog and $100 - $50 for a cat.
All adoption fees must be paid by cash or credit card.
You don’t need to bring every family member but make sure to discuss having a new pet with everyone playing a role in his/her care.
You will fill out an adoption application and meet with an adoption counselor to help ensure a good match.
Be prepared to enjoy our activities while you wait to meet the animals that are available for adoption. Anyone interested in adopting a new pet will be given a number and will be helped in order that they arrived.

What Do I Need To Bring?

Q:	I'm ready to adopt a new pet. What should I bring with me?
A:	Please bring a government issued ID and proof of address if your current address is not on your ID.
Q:	I want to adopt a cat. Do I need to bring a carrier?
A:	Carriers will be available for purchase but you may bring one if you like.
Q:	I want to adopt a dog. Do I need to bring a leash with me?
A:	Leashes, harnesses and collars will be available for purchase but you may bring them if you like.
Q:	Does my entire family need to come with me?
A:	You don’t need to bring every family member but make sure to discuss having a new pet with everyone playing a role in his/her care.
Q:	Can I fill out the adoption application in advance?
A:	Yes! The adoption applications are posted on this website. Print and fill out before you visit the shelter on August 11th.
Q:	What forms of payment do you accept?
A:	We accept credit cards and cash.
